DOHA, Qatar (AP) — FIFA earned record revenues of $7.5 billion in the four years of commercial deals tied to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the governing body of soccer said Sunday. The last three sponsors — two American and one from the Middle East — were announced hours before the opening game: YouTube, Visit Las Vegas and Fine Hygienic Holding, all in the third-tier category of regional sponsors. Disney spinning off ESPN would be ‘the dumbest thing ever’: Analyst
Disney (DIS) has some serious decisions to make now that Bob Iger has returned as CEO. One question includes the murky future of ESPN and whether or not the media giant should consider spinning off the popular sports network — a suggestion previously made by Third Point’s Dan Loeb. Loeb argued ESPN would have greater flexibility to pursue business initiatives, such as sports betting, if it was not part of Disney. “We’re very much against spinning off ESPN… that’s the dumbest thing ever,” Jason Bazinet, managing director at Citi, told Yahoo Finance Live on Monday. Bazinet went on to explain ESPN has the potential to be a much bigger global…

‘I’m Too Trusting and Gullible.’ How Do I Find a Financial Advisor Who Truly Acts as a Fiduciary?
Ask an Advisor: ‘I’m Too Trusting and Gullible.’ How do I Find a Financial Advisor Who Truly Acts as a Fiduciary? How can I reliably verify that a specific financial advisor is a true and full fiduciary – and that they’re not just conning and misleading me? Is there a respectable and independent professional group that independently investigates and reliably certifies that individuals named “advisors” truly act as fiduciaries? I’ve learned from a lifetime of depressing mistakes that I’m too trusting and gullible, so I’m deathly afraid of being lied to and cheated about something so critically important. I can’t afford any mistakes this time. -Rebecca I’m sorry that you’ve…
